Performance Braking Systems
Grooves machined into the braking surface of the disc act to 'clean' (deglaze) the surface of the pad, removing the glazed surface that builds up during the high temperatures experienced under heavy braking.
The grooves provide channels for the removal of gases that are produced during heavy braking. It is this cushion of gas that forms between disc and pad that causes brake 'Fade'.
The grooves are also said to play a part in the removal of brake dust / particles and cooling of the disc.
The dimples are blind holes machined into the braking surface of the disc. They do not pass right through the disc as a drilled hole would, but instead recess into the disc to a designated depth (Manufacturer dependant). The advantage of this is that they do not suffer from the same stress raising properties that cross drilled holes can be prone to, thus giving you a drilled look without the risk of fracturing.
The dimples are also said to help with gas dispersal by giving the gas somewhere to go. Our own view point on this is that their purpoose leans more to that of a cosmetic one.

How do I return an item?
Simply call us on 0845 3105 605 and one of our Customer Support team will issue you with a Returns Authorisation Code that will enable us to process your return quickly and efficiently.
You must obtain a Returns Authorisation Code before sending anything back to us or we will not be able to process your return. All products returned to us will be thoroughly checked by our Returns Department and only then will a refund, replacement or exchange be authorised and processed. Returns are usually processed within 10 working days of receipt.
A refund will be made in the same form of payment that was used to make the initial purchase. Return shipping costs will not be refunded unless the items are faulty.

All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges. For all other goods, the delivery charge will be calculated and confirmed at the checkout. Delivery prices quoted are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) will incur additional charges (e-mail us for a quotation) and may also experience delivery delays. AM and Saturday deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges. These can be obtained upon application. We deliver to any where in the World so just pick your Country at the checkout and the carriage is worked out for you. Delivery to Countries outside the UK normally take 7-8 working days from the recipt of the order.
